Zoe-perry
Perry is born July 25, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. Her first roles on television included two roles in the role of Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne as the character played by her mom. But her parents would not permit her to perform until she turned an adult due to the impact stress might have on their daughter. Perry she was timid to perform in the high school, started to act in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry was a graduate of Boston University, relocated to New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness led her to California for theater roles. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway together for the play The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she starred together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's crime thriller The Family. Her father played her on her role on the ABC Drama Scandal. That same year she appeared as a younger version of Mary Cooper on Young Sheldon (a CBS spinoff The Big Bang Theory), portraying her mother as a young version. The character was assigned by audition even though she has a family tie to the role.
